titleOfInvention Method of re-closing of earlier operated non-closed macular rupture
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, to field of ophthalmology. Three trocars 27 G or 25 G or 23 G are installed in 3.5-4.5 mm from limbus. Through one of them dye for colouring part of internal boundary membrane (IBM) of retina around macula, not removed in initial surgery, is introduced. Opening of remaining part of IBM is carried out from lateral side from macula, opposite to optic nerve disc, on semicircle. IBM flap is not opened completely. IBM flap on "pedicle" is formed in form of "sickle", maximal width of which constitutes from 0.3 to 1 diameter of optic nerve disk. By mechanical movement of free part of flap, macular rupture is closed by said flap. Perorganofluoric compound (POFC) is introduced into vitreous cavity until complete adhesion of IBM flap to retina around macular rupture. Replacement of POFC for silicone is carried out. After operation patient is put in face down position for 3 days, after 2 months silicone is removed from eye. n EFFECT: method of treatment of earlier operated non-closed macular ruptures of retna makes it possible to reduce trauma of intervention, because instrumental influence on retina tissue is not performed in area of macular rupture, as well as to increase operation efficiency due to more reliable closing of macular rupture. n 3 ex
