titleOfInvention | Method for stabilisation of kerastoconus with therapeutic means |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to ophthalmology, namely to methods for conservative treatment of keratoconus with progressing course, etiology of which remains unclear. For this purpose method of keratoconus stabilisation includes preliminary instillation of 1% placenta hydrolysate solutionin dose 1-2 drops in eye. After that, exposure to electromagnetic field from inductors of apparatus "Polus-3", which are placed on closed eyelids, is performed. The following mode of apparatus impact is used: intensity - 1 degree, frequency 25 Hz, amplitude of magnetic induction 10 mT. Duration of procedure constitutes 8-10 minutes. Course of treatment includes 10 daily procedures. n EFFECT: result of the method consists in resorption of central opacity, located on the apex of cone, which is accompanied with thickening of cornea "cut" on slit lamp, acquiring more correct ball-like shape by cornea, increase of vision acuity. n 2 ex |
