titleOfInvention Compositions and methods for increasing biomass, concentration of iron and plant resistance to pathogens
abstract FIELD: biochemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, namely to method of treating monocotyledonous or dicotyledon plants, involving application of Bacillus subtilis FB17 to plant, where said treatment improves plants’ ability to retain water in comparison with untreated plant, as well as to method of treatment of seeds of monocotyledonous or dicotyledon plant, where method involves application of Bacillus subtilis FB17 to plant seed, where plant growing from seed, exhibits high water retention capacity in comparison with untreated seed. Invention also relates to method of growing of monocotyledonous or dicotyledon plant including provision of seed of monocotyledonous or dicotyledon plant, to which Bacillus subtilis FB17 was applied, and sowing of seeds into soil for germination, where plant growing from seed can better retain water in comparison with untreated plant. n EFFECT: invention allows to increase capacity of plants or seeds to retain water. n 12 cl, 23 dwg, 2 tbl, 9 ex
