titleOfInvention Colloidal solution of nanosilver in ethylene-glycol and method of its production
abstract FIELD: nonotechnologies. n SUBSTANCE: proposed invention refers to the production of a colloidal solution of nanosilver in ethylene-glycol. The colloidal solution contains ethylene-glycol and nanoparticle of silver within the concentration from 1 to 100 mg/l. The percentage of nanoparticles of silver with the size of 5-8 nm is from 3 to 5%; 30-50 nm, from 28 to 30%; 50-75 nm, from 38 to 40%; 75-100 nm, from 23 to 25%. The colloidal solution is produced by reduction of ethylene-glycol solution of trifluoroacetate of silver or monochloroacetate of silver with the concentration of 10 -3 -10 -5 mol/l equimolar amount of ascorbic acid. The reduction is being performed during agitation in ethylene-glycol medium at the temperature of 20-25°C.
