abstract | FIELD: measurement technology. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of measuring concentration of 137 Cs in an aqueous medium and is intended for monitoring radioactive contamination of water bodies. In disclosed method, content of 137 Cs is determined by direct beta-radiometry after its concentration on disc mini adsorbers using mass of sorbent which is 100 times less than for gamma-spectrometric measurement of content of 137 Cs. n EFFECT: increasing efficiency of detecting said radionuclide by 10รท50 times in comparison with gamma-spectrometric method and reducing volume of treated water from 1,000 to 50 litres or less. n 1 cl, 2 dwg |
