abstract FIELD: manufacturing technology. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system containing a cartridge containing beverage ingredient, and device for ingredient infusion in the cartridge by supplying liquid into the cartridge for infusion, for example, heated water. Proposed device comprises front and rear downstream along the external cartridge elements moved relative to each other between open position to introduce and/or removing cartridge and the closed position to form the infusion chamber enclosing the cartridge during infusion. Infusion chamber provides limited space for expansion, which is not filled with cartridge prior to liquid fed into the cartridge in closed position of the elements enclosing the cartridge and is filled after the cartridge expansion caused by the ingredient under the influence of the liquid for infusion. n EFFECT: providing maximum cartridge filling with ingredient and minimizing super extraction. n 16 cl, 7 dwg
