| abstract | FIELD: manufacturing technology. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system containing a cartridge containing beverage ingredient, and device for ingredient infusion in the cartridge by supplying liquid into the cartridge for infusion, for example, heated water. Proposed device comprises front and rear downstream along the external cartridge elements moved relative to each other between open position to introduce and/or removing cartridge and the closed position to form the infusion chamber enclosing the cartridge during infusion.
