titleOfInvention | Implant for surgical treatment of inflammatory and tumor spinal diseases |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and surgery. Implant comprises a base made from carbon-carbon material with at least one channel filled with the drug. Base consists of carbon-carbon material containing pirocarbon matrix and multi-directional reinforcement frame of rods from carbon fibres. Rods contain in their composition one or more chemical compounds from a group: aluminium oxide, silicon carbide, calcium orthophosphate, calcium pyrophosphate, titanium oxide, titanium carbide, zirconium oxide, zirconium carbide, niobium oxide, niobium carbide, hafnium oxide, hafnium carbide, tantalum oxide, tantalum carbide, tungsten carbide in amount of 0.1–10 % of the weight of the rod. n EFFECT: implant allows to increase reliability of endoprosthesis replacement in surgical treatment of spinal diseases due to mechanical properties, close to properties of bone, and radio density. n 3 cl |
