titleOfInvention Method for assessing tolerance of medications during epibulbar use thereof
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For evaluation of tolerance of various drug preparations in their epibulbar application, method comprises optical Scheimpflug scanning of cornea with infrared radiation before, 10, 20 and 30 minutes after single application or with underlying therapeutic course with drug preparation. Observing densitometric epithelial peak and optical density in corneal stroma in comparison with initial measurements before using preparation indicates poor tolerance of used preparation. n EFFECT: method provides more effective evaluation of tolerance of medications during their epibulbar use due to possibility of obtaining information on densitometric optical density in all layers of cornea using a device, operation of which is based on Scheimpflug principle. n 1 cl, 3 ex
