titleOfInvention | In vivo synthesis of elastic fiber |
abstract | FIELD: cosmetics. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cosmetology and represents a method for restoring elasticity of individual's skin that includes the following stages: providing the presence of an individual in need of restoring the elasticity of their skin; defining a treatment area on the skin of the individual wherein the treatment area is an area of skin in which elasticity is to be provided; injecting a tropoelastin composition into skin tissue within the treatment area so as to establish an amount of tropoelastin within the treatment area that is increased relative to skin outside the treatment area; where tropoelastin composition is injected in skin tissue within the treatment area in accordance with a preset schedule that defines the given number of treatments, wherein each treatment in the form of injections is carried out in a given moment in time and where at least one treatment comprises multiple injections, wherein each injection is injected into an area that is distant from other areas of injections at a preset distance, thus maintaining the amount of tropoelastin in the treatment area for a pre-determined period of time according to the schedule of treatment thereby providing elasticity to the skin of an individual. n EFFECT: invention ensures maintaining of tropoelastin in the treatment area in order to ensure the possibility of cells to recycle this molecule as a substrate in elastogenesis and activation of fibroblasts, and production of newly elastic fibres. n 14 cl, 14 dwg, 2 tbl, 2 ex |
