titleOfInvention Method of implantation of 3-part intraocular lens with flexible optics and rigid haptic with by means of injector system without capsular support
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and is intended for implantation of three-part intraocular lens with flexible optics and rigid haptic. An injector system Monarch with cartridge "C" is used for implantation. Lens placed in the cartridge with turned haptic elements is moved to an exit of her forward haptic element from a cartridge. Then to the support element tie up the thread loop removed through a corneal tunnel, for this purpose at the end of the loop, wrapping threads around itself twice, form a ring, in which enter a front haptic element of the lens and cover with the free end of a loop, after which threads are tightened. Piston of injector unscrew in reverse direction, at that due to elastic properties of silicon optics of lens and conical form of cartridge the lens independently moves together with fixed to the front haptic part by the double thread back inside the cartridge. Cartridge is introduced in the corneal tunnel and implanted anterior haptic and optical part of the lens in the anterior and posterior eye chamber, leaving the posterior haptic element of the lens outside of the cornea. Second loop brought out through a paracentesis of cornea on it surface is transferred into the corneal tunnel and fixed to the posterior haptic part, after which it is implanted. Then the lens is fixed to the sclera on both sides, stitching by a needle with a thread of cut edge and forming a submersible knots. n EFFECT: method allows to freely implanting the lens. n 1 cl
