titleOfInvention | Method for differential diagnostic of high-grade differentiated adenocarcinomas and adenomas of colon |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to pathologic anatomy and oncology, and can be used in early lifetime immunohistochemical diagnostics of high-grade differentiated adenocarcinomas of colon. Method involves that the presence of cells expressing Ki-67 is determined additionally, as well as E-cadherin, p53. If there are cells with hyperexpression of E-cadherin, p53, cyclin D1, Ki-67 proliferation index more than 20 % of cells nuclei, the presence of high-grade differentiated adenocarcinomas with high invasive potential of growth, and in case if there are cells with weak expression of E-cadherin, p53, cyclin D1, Ki-67 proliferation index less than 20 % of cells nuclei, the presence of adenomas with signs of dysplasia of 2-3 degree. n EFFECT: method enables to predict clinical outcome more accurately and to plan therapeutic intervention. n 1 cl, 6 dwg, 1 tbl, 2 ex |
