titleOfInvention | Method of removing radioactive cesium, hydrophilic resin composition for removing radioactive cesium, method of removing radioactive iodine and radioactive cesium and hydrophilic resin composition for removing radioactive iodine and radioactive cesium |
abstract | FIELD: physics. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to removal of radioactive cesium or radioactive iodine and radioactive cesium, as well as hydrophilic resin composition used for removal of radioactive cesium or radioactive iodine and radioactive cesium from used radioactive liquid or solid substance, obtained during operation of nuclear power plant or plant for processing spent nuclear fuel. For removal of said isotopes envisages usage of hydrophilic resin composition containing at least one hydrophilic resin selected from group consisting of hydrophilic polyurethane resin, hydrophilic polyurea resin and hydrophilic polyurethane-polyurea resin, each of which has at least hydrophilic segment; and zeolite, dispersed in ratio from 1 to 200 weight parts relative to 100 weight parts of hydrophilic resin. n EFFECT: simplified process, avoiding need in power source, such as electricity, as well as possibility of gripping and stable retention of remote radioactive substances in solid body and decreased volume of radioactive wastes. n 23 cl, 9 dwg, 17 tbl, 10 ex |
