titleOfInvention | Method for corner of eye correction at lagophthalmos |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to maxillofacial surgery, and aims at correcting corner of eye at lagophthalmos, including in nerve lagophthalmos. Horizontal incision is performed on upper eyelid additional linear cuts, framing angle of eye, with length of 5-8 mm, at distance from edge corner of eye of 1-2 mm. Horizontal incision is performed between point corresponding to top of corner of eye on intact side with overcorrection of 1-2 mm, and upper point of corner of eye mobilisation. Obtained flaps are stripped within subcutaneous fat, increase angle of the eye to be placed on canthal band through seam and by performing thread inside it, with further fixation canthal band to periosteum inner orbital wall, rotation flaps, locked corner of eye symmetrically healthy side and fixation of flaps together. n EFFECT: method enables reducing intra-operative injuries due to reduction of soft tissues of periorbital area and improving aesthetic effect due to recovery of symmetry of corner of eye. n 1 cl, 3 dwg, 1 ex |
