abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing chiral compounds, particularly to method of producing chiral compound of formula (II). Method involves reaction of chiral compound of formula (I) with H 2 N-NH-CHO in solvent to obtain compound of formula (II). In formulae (I) and (II) Y denotes substituted or unsubstituted aryl fragment, wherein substituted aryl fragment contains 1, 2 or 3 substitutes, which are selected from group comprising halogen, alkyl and C 1 -C 6 alkoxy group.
