abstract | FIELD: manufacturing technology. n SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to method of producing halogenated rubber. Described is method of producing halogenated rubber, including at least following stages: a) providing reaction medium containing common aliphatic medium containing at least 50 wt%. one or more aliphatic hydrocarbons with boiling temperature in the range of 45° to 80 °C at pressure of 1,013 GPa, so that total aliphatic medium additionally contains cyclic aliphatic hydrocarbons in amount of less than 25 wt%, and mixture of monomers containing at least one iso-olefin monomer, at least one multi-olefin monomer and does not contain or contains at least one other copolymerised monomer, at weight ratio of mixture of monomers to common aliphatic medium from 40:60 to 99:1, b) polymerisation of mixture of monomers in reaction medium to form rubber solution containing rubber polymer, at least substantially dissolved in medium containing common aliphatic medium and residual monomers from mixture of monomers; c) separating residual monomers mixture of monomers from rubber solution to form separated rubber solution containing rubber and common aliphatic medium; d) a halogenation rubber in separated rubber solution using halogenating agent. n EFFECT: reduced power consumption and consumption of raw materials, reduction of undesirable by-products formation. n 14 cl, 1 dwg, 2 ex |
