titleOfInvention Device for restoration of human or animal joint
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to a device for treatment of human or animal joint, said joint has two articular surfaces, comprises two joint elements and temporarily installed connecting element. Two joint element exhibit relative to each other at least limited articular properties and contain attachment devices to one of said articular surfaces by means of material with thermoplastic properties, and energy of oscillations. Material with thermoplastic properties is arranged on outer surfaces of each joint element. Temporary installed connecting element is arranged with the possibility of disconnection between two said elements or around two said joint elements and connects the above two joint elements to form a rigid element not exhibiting articular properties of an integral unit. Method of treatment of human or animal joint by the first version, wherein the said joint has two articular surfaces, includes the following stages: providing for presence of the above device wherein the thermoplastic material makes an integral whole with the joint elements; preparing articular surfaces of the joint to get the subchondral ostein tissue at least partially exposed; pushing the said device between the prepared articular surfaces, simultaneously causing vibration of the device for the time sufficient for liquefaction of at least a part of the thermoplastic material with provision of its penetration into the exposed subchondral ostein tissue; providing for liquefied material hardening to make shaped connection between the said device and exposed subchondral bone tissue and removing temporarily installed connecting element to provide at least limited joint properties. Method of treatment of human or animal joint by the second version, wherein the said joint has two articular surfaces, includes the following stages: providing for presence of the above device wherein the thermoplastic material is included in the form of separate pins; preparing articular surfaces of the joint to get the subchondral ostein tissue at least partially exposed; placing the device between the prepared articular surfaces; pushing the pins between the outer surfaces of the joint elements or into the perforated channels or tunnels in the joint elements, simultaneously causing vibration of the pins for the time sufficient for liquefaction of at least a part of the thermoplastic material with provision of its flowing through the perforated channels or tunnels for penetration into the exposed subchondral ostein tissue; providing for liquefied material hardening to make shaped connection between the said device and exposed subchondral bone tissue; and removing temporarily installed connecting element to provide at least limited joint properties. n EFFECT: invention ensures reconstruction joint of human patient's or animal joint, the reconstructed joint may show articular properties, limitedly or completely, after reconstruction surgery. n 20 cl, 14 dwg
