abstract | FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing 3-(1-adamantyl)-1,5,3-ditiazepane of formula (1) Method involves in reaction of 1-aminoadamantane with 1-oxa-3,6-ditiacycloheptane in presence of catalyst SmCl 3 ·6H 2 O in molar ratio of 1-aminoadamantae:1-oxa-3,6-ditiacyclogeptane:SmCl 3 ·6H 2 O=1:1:(0.03-0.07) at temperature of ~20 °C and atmospheric pressure for 2.5-3.5 hours.
