| abstract | FIELD: machine building. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems of bearing devices for application of coating on panels and can be used for application of coating on automobile panels and parts, architectural panels, household electronics, instruments, sports equipment and articles for leisure and aviation panels, etc. Bearing device comprises a base, which includes at least one support base and grip area. Bearing device also has a protective cover. Design and arrangement of support base make it possible to support panel. Protective cover is in contact with base and contains a self-supported protective case arranged on upper surface of grip area and/or from below lower surface of grip area. Protective cover has opposite top and bottom covers. Design and arrangement of protective cover make it possible to stay in contact with base of bearing device and close grip area of bearing device. Method of applying coatings on panel includes installation of at least one panel on bearing device. Coating composition is then applied on at least one panel. Method then includes curing coating composition, until at least one panel is installed on bearing device. Grip area of bearing device can contain a tab extending from edge of base. Protective cover of bearing device can have a front edge extending beyond front edge of base.
