abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of pyrazole derivatives, particularly to a method of producing ethyl 5-methyl-3-(3-phenoxyphenyl)pyrazolyl-4-carboxylate, which is a novel structure 3-phenoxyphenyl-containing compound. Technical result is a wider range of chemical compounds, particularly production of novel ethyl 5-methyl-3-(3-phenoxyphenyl)-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazolyl-4-carboxylate with good output and high degree of purity. Technical result is achieved by a method for producing ethyl 5-methyl-3-(3-phenoxyphenyl)pyrazolyl-4-carboxylate which comprises condensing phenylhydrazine with, obtained by acylating sodium enolate of acetoacetic ester, acyl chloride of 3-phenoxybenzoic acid - ethyl 3-oxo-2-(3-phenoxybenzoyl)butanoate. Condensation is carried out at 80 °C for 2.5 hours, and product is separated by filtration. n EFFECT: obtained novel compound is of interest as an intermediate in synthesis of biologically active compounds. n 1 cl, 1 ex
