abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely, to ophthalmology, and is intended for treatment of dry eye syndrome. “Mucosa Compositum” substance is introduced into the conjunctival cavity epibulbarly in the volume of two drops. Area is exposed to the effect of traveling pulse magnetic field with the induction of 33 Mt, field frequency change of 100 Hz and magnetic field modulation frequency of 10 Hz. Duration of the procedure performed on the involved eye is 5 minutes; the procedure is performed 1 time a day. Therapeutic course is 10 procedures. n EFFECT: method ensures higher clinical effectiveness of dry eye syndrome treatment, which is expressed in improvement of epithelialization of the eye conjunctiva and cornea, reduction of inflammatory reaction in the conjunctiva, prolonged stability of the lachrymal film, elongation of the remission period and, consequently, improved quality of patients' life. n 1 cl, 1 dwg, 4 ex |
