abstract |
FIELD: treatment plant. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of purifying water. Method of softening water involves mixing water with adsorbent - 95 % glauconite, pre-treated with sodium chloride. Softened water contains up to 840 mg/l NaHCO 3 and up to 850 mg/l NaNO 3 . Process is carried out in two steps with respect to water volume in litres of weight of adsorbent in grams equal 1:10. Each step is carried out by stirring water with a fresh portion of adsorbent for 20-40 minutes. n EFFECT: invention enables to obtain soft water with total hardness of not more than 15/1000 mmol-eq/l. n 1 cl, 4 dwg, 1 tbl |
