titleOfInvention Method of producing betulinol dipropionate
abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of betulinol dipropionate-biologically active substance, having anti-tumour activity. Betulinol dipropionate is obtained in a single step by boiling betulinol with propionic acid in the presence of catalytic amounts of orthophosphoric acid in toluene medium with removal of water formed during the reaction, wherein concentration of propionic acid in the reaction mixture 13.3 wt. %, and orthophosphoric 2.7 wt. %. n EFFECT: reduction of steps, the process duration reduction, reduced consumption of propionic acid, higher quality of the end product. n 1 cl, 1 ex
