abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for prediction of the risk of developing complications of chronic true eczema in Russian individuals, natives of Central Black Earth Region of the Russian Federation, differing by the fact that the method involves DNA recovery from peripheral venous blood, analysis of genetic polymorphism of α(+250A/G Ltα) lymphotoxin in a combination with predictors, such as sites of chronic infection and a leukocyte count; the developing complications are predicted by equations of linear discriminator function as follows: y 1 = -114.015+108.475x 1 +1.267x 2 +2.743x 3 , y 2 = -114.720+103.793x 1 +2.370x 2 +3.399x 3 , wherein x 1 is the presence of sites of chronic infection (yes - 1; no - 2), x 2 is the leukocyte count (10 12 /l), x 3 is a genetic variation in +250 A/G Ltα locus: AA - x 3 = 1; AG - x 3 = 2; GG - x 3 = 3. The risk of developing complications, such as secondary fungal and bacterial infections of CTE is predicted if y 2 is more than y 1 .
