titleOfInvention | Method for diagnosing limb lymphedema |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, clinical lymphology, tomographic analysis. To diagnose degree of lymphedema limb, method includes injecting a paramagnetic lymphotropic drug into web spaces, and imaging lymphatic vessels. This involves a dynamic magnetic resonance imaging, where lymphotropic drug administered is Gadobutrol. Imaging of investigated area is performed at intervals of 10-25 minutes, 50-65 minutes, 90-105 minutes and 24 hours after administration of contrast agent. In presence of spindles on CT scan in range of 10-25 minutes is diagnosed with safeguarding of function lymphangion lymphedema. In presence of same calibre of lymphatic vessels throughout their length, without differentiation on lymphangions in range of 50-65 minutes diagnose a violation of their contractile function. In presence of extended lymph collectors in range of 90-105 minutes and maintaining contrast agent 24 hours after its introduction determine presence of lymphocele and expansion of lymphocollectors higher than lymphocele. n EFFECT: method provides high diagnostic efficiency lymphedema, in particular, allows to determine not only number of lymphatic vessels, their shape and presence of permeability collaterals, but also degree of preservation lymphangion, with exclusion of radiation exposure to patient. n 1 cl, 3 ex |
