abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to forensic medicine, and can be used for infrared differential instant diagnosis of a bruise and soft tissue injury. For this, the damages section is determined by establishing the skin hyperemia. One determines local temperature in the area of skin injury with the help of a thermal imager in the infrared spectrum. Then, there is administered, into the central part of the detected damaged section, an intradermal injection of sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution in the volume of 0.3-0.5 ml, heated to the temperature detected in the section of skin damage. 2 minutes after that there is performed a repeated examination of the damaged section by means of a thermal imager. If normal skin temperature is maintained in the identified section and there happens complete decolouration of skin in the area of injection, the conclusion is made of the presence of a bruise without soft tissue injury. If local hyperthermia and skin hyperemia is maintained in the detected skin section, conclusion is made about presence of soft tissue injury without bruising. In case of reduction of hyperemia intensity and conservation in the injection area of local hyperthermia, the conclusion is made about presence of soft tissue injury combined with a bruise. Method provides for an acceleration and increased efficiency of making a differential diagnosis of a bruise and soft tissue injury during forensic medical examination by obtaining additional information on dynamics of physical properties of skin after interstitial influence on it of a heated 0.9% sodium chloride solution. n EFFECT: method provides for acceleration and increased efficiency in making a differential diagnosis of a bruise and soft tissue injury. n 1 cl, 1 ex
