abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of inorganic sorbents. Proposed is method of producing aluminosilicate adsorbent comprising preparing a heterogeneous composition containing aluminum powder, crystalline sodium metasilicate, Na 2 SiO 3 ยท9H 2 O and aqueous solution of metal salt selected from copper, calcium, nickel, cobalt, or silver. Weight ratio of said components is 1:3:10. Stirring resulting mixture is carried out for 10 minutes at room temperature.
