FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to model transient ischemic retina. Modeling is performed by introducing the solution of endothelin-1 (ET-1).into the eye of rat. To do this, perform injection with insulin needle size 0.4×13 mm (27G) at the turn of the cut needle to the upper eyelid to the eye's equator upper-outer quadrant of the conjunctiva. Needle is driven subconjunctivally by at least half of its length in the direction of the posterior pole of the eye. Introduced through the needle is 0, 2 ml of 4·10 -6 M solution of ET-1 in phosphate buffer, pH 7.4. n EFFECT: method provides adequate reproducibility transient ischemia of the retina in the experiment without damaging eye tissue and decreasing the dose of the drug. n 1 cl, 2 ex |
