abstract | FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: copolymers are obtained from the following components, wt %: a1) from 30 to 90 of monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid with 3-8 carbon atoms, anhydride or water-soluble salt of said acid, a2) from 3 to 60 of monomer, containing sulphonic acid groups, selected from 2-acryleamido-2-methylpropanesulphonic acid, allylsulphonic acid and their water-soluble salts. a3) from 3 to 60 of non-ionic monomer of formula H 2 C=C(R 1 )COO-[R 2 -O] o -R 3 (I), in which R 1 is hydrogen atom or methyl, R 2 are similar or different, linear or branched alkylene residues with 2-6 carbon atoms, which can be located in units or statistically, selected from ethylene and 1,2-propylene, and R 3 is hydrogen atom or linear or branched alkyl residue with 1-4 carbon atoms, and o is natural number from 3 to 50, a4) from 0 to 30 of one or several other ethylene unsaturated monomers, polymerisable with c a1), a2) and a3). The sum of components a1), a2), a3) and a4) equals 100 wt %. Copolymers are applied in form of sedimentation-preventing additive in washing and cleaning substances. Cleaning composition contains the following components, wt %: from 1 to 20 of said copolymer, from 0 to 20 of polycarboxylates, from 0 to 50 of complexing agent, from 0 to 70 of phosphates, from 0 to 60 of other washing components and additional washing components, from 0.1 to 20 of non-ionogenic surface-active substances, from 0 to 30 of bleaching substances and if necessary bleaching activators and bleaching catalysts, from 0 to 8 of enzymes, from 0 to 50 of one or several other additional substances, such as anionic or zwitterionic surface-active substances, carriers of alkali properties, corrosion inhibitors, foam extinguishers, dyes, fragrances, filling agents, organic solvents, auxiliary preparations for tabletting, disintegrants, thickening agents, solubilisers, and water.
