abstract | FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a stable mixture containing surface-modified particles, a solvent and a surfactant, to the use of said particles in systems where particles are brought into contact with at least one solvent, wherein the ratio of the mass of the solvent to the mass of the modified particles is greater than 500, as well as to the use of said particles in agglomeration-deagglomeration cycles. The surface-modified particles are obtained by reacting metal oxide particles with at least one compound selected from silicon-containing compounds which contain one, two or three alkoxy radicals.
