titleOfInvention Preoperative differential diagnostic technique for bone tissue neoplasms
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: technique involves venous blood sampling with preparing blood serum samples. The prepared samples are analysed by tray enzyme immunoassay EIA to measure an amount of neopterin NP, tumour necrosis factor TNF-α, interleukin-6 IL-6, vascular endothelial growth factor VEGF, matrix metalloproteinases MMP-2 and MMP-9, tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase-1 TIMP-1. The measured values are analysed and used to calculate coefficient K by formula: If K≤15.8, a benign process is diagnosed, whereas K>15.8 shows a malignant process. n EFFECT: using this technique enables improving specificity and information value of bone tissue neoplasm diagnosis and makes it possible to determine the neoplasm nature by preoperative minimally invasive procedure to optimise a patient surveillance, correcting a surgical technique and admitting to special care medical institutions taking into account a level of complexity of planned manipulations. n 2 ex
