titleOfInvention Set of superconducting rf-coils with cryogenic cooling for head and system of magnetic-resonance tomography (mrt) only for head, applying such set of rf-coils
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to magnetic-resonance tomography and spectroscopy in general. A system for magnetic-resonance tomography of the head, which contains an asymmetric basic magnet, containing the first and second sets of coils from a high-temperature superconductor, composed in such a way that they are placed coaxially relative to the common longitudinal axis, with the first set of coils containing at least two coils, which have an internal radius and are placed in the first zone by the length along the common longitudinal axis in such a way as to cover the head and neck of a patient, and the second set of coils containing at least one coil, which is placed in the second zone by the length along the common longitudinal axis in such a way as to cover a part of the patient's body, when the head and neck are placed in the said first zone by the length along the common longitudinal axis, and the internal radius of the coils of the second set is larger than the internal radius of the coils of the first set, with the coils of the first and second sets being asymmetrical along the said common longitudinal axis and being configured with a possibility of creating a homogenous magnetic field, which has homogeneity 1-10ยท10 -6 in a sensitive volume, determined by the diameter, within the first zone, to obtain a magnetic resonance image of the examined head area, placed in the ranges of the first zone. n EFFECT: increase of spatial and temporal resolution is achieved. n 16 cl, 1 tbl, 12 dwg
