abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to an agent representing glycyrrhizic acid amide with 5-aminouracil of formula (1) showing antiviral activity on A/H1N1 influenza virus. The presented agent (GA amide (1)) is 5 times less toxic for MDCK cells (CTD 50 300 mcg/ml) than rimantadin, a known antiviral preparation (CTD 50 60 mcg/ml), and possesses high antiviral activity; 50% effective concentration (EC 50 ) of GA amide (1) is 0.2 mcg/ml, and in reference preparations: GA - 174 mcg/ml, rimantadin - 12 mcg/ml.
