titleOfInvention Diagnostic technique for preeclampsia
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: technique involves 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, and the following parameters are measured: a daily time index of systolic blood pressure (SBP), a morning rise of diastolic blood pressure (DBP), a daily SBP variability, a night time index of DBP, a daily 24-hour index of SBP, a morning SBP, a daily average pulse blood pressure (BP). The 24-hour blood pressure monitoring findings are used to set their numerical values, which provide a basis to determine prognostic coefficients F1 and F2 to be correlated. If F2 is more than F1, preeclampsia is diagnosed, whereas F1 exceeding F2 shows gestational hypertension. n EFFECT: technique enables the high-accuracy differential diagnosis of preeclampsia and gestational hypertension. n 3 ex
