titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR INCREASING ANTIBIOTIC SUSCEPTIBILITY in vitro OF OPPORTUNISTIC MICROFLORA BY PREPARATION OF SILVER ARGOVIT |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science and is applicable in laboratory research to analyse an antibiotic susceptibility of microorganisms. To this effect, 1 ml of a 24-hour bacterial culture of a microorganism of an opportunistic microflora containing 500 mln CFU/1 ml is added with 1 ml of meat infusion broth with the preparation "Argovit" containing the active substance in an amount from 7 to 0.45 mcg in 1 ml. That is followed by culturing for 48-72 hours at T = 37±0.5°C. Further, 1.0 ml of the culture is mixed with 1.0 ml of the meat infusion broth containing a minimum suppressive concentration of an antibiotic, and incubated for 24-48 hours at T = 37±0.5°C. A resultant increase of the antibiotic susceptibility of the opportunistic microflora is stated of observing variations of the minimum suppressive concentration. n EFFECT: using the presented method enables stating the increase of the antibiotic susceptibility of the opportunistic microflora in vitro after cultured with the preparation "Argovit". n 1 tbl |
