titleOfInvention | Method of assessing mineral density of bone tissue in patients with chronic heart failure |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: analysis of bone tissue mineral density (BMD) in patients with chronic heart failure is carried out by means of dual energy X-ray absoptiometry, T- and Z-criteria are calculated. In the process of BMD determination scanning of lumbar spine in anteroposterior projection and proximal part of hip bone from both sides are performed, area of projection of the analysed section and content of cone mineral are measured. After that BMD is calculated by formula BMD=BMC/Area, where BMD is Bone Mineral Density, mineral density of bone, (g/cm 2 ); BMC is Bone Mineral Content, content of bone mineral (g); Area is area of projection of analysed section (cm 2 ). n EFFECT: method provides novel optimal set of zones for BMD analysis for patients with said disease in order to perform the most objective and accurate registration of BMD changes, their control in that very group of patients. n 4 dwg, 2 ex |
