abstract | FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of obtaining biocidal composition for wood protection. Fraction of highly-boiling byproducts of 4,4-dimethyldioxane-1,3 synthesis with boiling temperature 105-120°C with residual pressure 20-30 mm Hg is heated with boric acid with their weight ratio 1:(0.45-0.47) to temperature 115-125°C with residual pressure 100-200 mm Hg with continuous distillation of released reaction water and formaldehyde. After that, hydrolysis of formed intermediate products with water is performed at temperature 80-85°C, precipitated boric acid is filtered, water is distilled under vacuum and viscous liquid, containing about 4.0% of boron is obtained in boiler. n EFFECT: invention provides simplified technology of obtaining biocidal composition based on highly-boiling byproducts of 4,4-dimethyldioxane-1,3 synthesis. n 2 tbl, 2 ex |
