titleOfInvention | Chewing gum hydrophilic base |
abstract | FIELD: food industry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The chewing gum base contains a hydrophilic precursor component, containing hydrolysable structure units, and a hydrophilic monomer copolymer with the second monomer. The second monomer is chosen from vynylacetate, isobutylene, isoprene, butyl rubber or styrene-butadiene. The hydrophilic precursor component includes a polymer or its salt. The polymer is chosen from a copolymer of methyl vinyl ether and maleic anhydride and/or its salt, copolymers of polystyrol and maleic anhydride and/or their salt, polysuccinimide and/or its salt and their combination, copolymers of vinylpyrrolidone and vinyl acetate and/or their salt and alginates and/or their salt. The hydrophilic precursor component is at least partly encapsulated or distributed in a barrier material. The barrier material includes a substance having no nucleophilic group capable of interaction with hydrolysable structure units of the hydrophilic precursor component. Additionally, one proposes a chewing gum composition, a method for the base and chewing gum production as well as versions of the method for enhancement of the chewing gum base decomposition capability. n EFFECT: invention allows to produce a chewing gum base capable to decompose. n 20 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl |
