titleOfInvention Method for eliminating posttraumatic enophthalmos
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: intrasinus approach is exercised, and a mill hole is formed in an anteroexternal wall of a paranasal sinus. An L-shaped titanium plate with its shorter and longer portions bent 90-110°, and its longer portion having a screw hole and its shorter portion - a hole for a cord fixing a silicone unit, is inserted through them. Before the L-shaped titanium plate is inserted, a carrier comprising a cylindrical metal rod ended with flat grounds having screw holes is mounted within a lower one-third of the mill hole. The carrier is screwed to the anteroexternal wall of a paranasal sinus. The L-shaped titanium plate is inserted with its longer portion positioned above the cylindrical metal rod of the carrier, which is a bearing point for lever formation. A screw 9-11 mm long is screwed into the longer portion of the L-shaped titanium plate to be fixed to an alveolar process of the upper jaw; the shorter portion of the plate with the silicone unit comes into motion and moves an eyeball. n EFFECT: possibility to correct postoperative enophthalmos. n 2 cl, 2 ex, 4 dwg
