titleOfInvention Method of assessment of morphology of pollen grains of plants
abstract FIELD: agriculture. n SUBSTANCE: invention is a method of assessment of morphology of the pollen grains of plants, consisting in their staining and induction of fluorescence in incident light using the inverted fluorescence microscope, characterized in that the preparation of pollen on specimen glass is treated with a complex dye consisting of 20 parts by volume of 0.00001% aqueous solution of Hoechst 33258 and 1 part of 2% alcoholic solution of pyronine B, and epi-luminescence of the stained pollen grains is studied, excited by the incident light in the wavelength range of 340-380 nm, with a locking optical filter transmitting long-wave range of spectrum of more than 510 nm. n EFFECT: invention enables to accelerate evaluation of the morphology of pollen grains, the size and nature of location of their apertures on contrast images obtained. n 3 dwg, 3 ex
