abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Device includes case, containing biosensor port, device for measuring glucose, connected to biosensor port; output communication device, located on case, and multitude of user's interface buttons. processor is connected to device, memory, user's interface buttons and output communication device. Processor is programmed to check if last measurement of glucose was performed at first specified time period, basing on user's selection of recommendation of insulin bolus quantity. Recommendation includes checking if quantity of insulin bolus was introduced during third specified time period, and in case of affirmative answer, warning of user; and recommendation of quantity of insulin for coving carbohydrate, otherwise 1) determination if flag indicator was installed before meals in measuring glucose, carried out during third specifies time period, and if "yes", then a) warning of user that insulin can be still physiologically active; and b) recommendation of quantity of insulin for covering carbohydrates, 2) determination if last glucose test was marked with flag indicator after meals during third specified time period, and if "yes", warning of user about necessity to use complete bolus calculation with application of glucose concentration before meal and that it is necessary to provide only covering of hydrocarbons; and recommendation of quality of insulin for hydrocarbon covering; and recommendations about insulin bolus. n EFFECT: invention makes it possible to control insulin introduction in simple and convenient form. n 3 cl, 14 dwg |
