FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: fixed expansion screw appliance is placed onto an upper jaw. A screw body is arranged along a median line of palate at the level of second upper premolars. The upper dental arch is expanded. Braces are placed on 1.5, 1.3, 1.2, 1.1, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.5 teeth. As the upper teeth align, the braces are adhered to a lower jaw. The fixed appliance is removed from the upper jaw 2 or 3 months later. The braces are fixed on 1.4, 2.4 teeth, whereas rings with buccal tubes are fixed on the molars. The standard treatment with the use of the braces follows. n EFFECT: reducing the length of treatment, conducting the orthodontic care avoiding separate teeth extraction, preventing the body dental inclination towards the vestibule. n 12 dwg, 1 ex |
