titleOfInvention | Fire-extinguishing composition forming fire-extinguishing agent at high temperature decomposition |
abstract | FIELD: fire-fighting equipment. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of fire-extinguishing. The method is performed using the fire-extinguishing composition that forms the fire-extinguishing agent at a high temperature decomposition, and the pyrotechnic aerosol fire-extinguishing agent. The fire-extinguishing composition comprises the fire-extinguishing material capable to decompose upon heating to release a substance having the fire-extinguishing action in an amount of 90 wt % to 95 wt %, the additive, and the surface-coating agent in a total content of 5 wt % to 10 wt %. The pyrotechnic agent used as the source of heat and energy is ignited to form aerosol. At high temperature reached during combustion of the pyrotechnic agent, the fire-extinguishing composition is heated, forming a large amount of fire-extinguishing agent which is sprayed together with the aerosol. n EFFECT: compared with currently known aerosol fire-extinguishing systems, gas fire-extinguishing system and fire-extinguishing system based on water the invention does not require pressure during storage, it is safer, less harmful to the environment and more efficient. n 12 cl, 1 tbl |
