FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. A method of post-loading of ceramic particles with antimicrobial metal cations is described. The post-loaded particles represent zeolites, where the zeolites are includes into resin, and a combination is used as an implanted device. The polymer represents a thermoplastic polymer such as polyaryletheretherketone (PEEK). A source of antimicrobial activity includes ion-exchange cations, contained in zeolite.
