titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR PRODUCING NAPHTHO[1,2,3-cd]INDOL-6(2H)-ONES |
abstract | FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to organic chemistry, namely to a method for producing naphtho[1,2,3-cd]indol-6(2H)-ones of the general formula wherein R means a hydrogen or chlorine atom, from the substance based on 1-azido-9,10-anthraquinones with the hydrogen or chlorine atom in position 4 respectively, differing by the fact that synthesis is one-staged; an initial substance is suspended in dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO), heated at 120-125°C; once the reaction is terminated, the reaction mixture is cooled down, kept with sodium methylate added; further, an aqueous solution of acetic acid is added in an amount equal to the amount of the prepared mixture; the prepared green-yellow suspension is heated until diluted, added with water, heated to 95°C and cooled down until precipitating naphtho[1,2,3-cd]indol-6(2H)-one, which is filtered and washed in an aqueous alcohol, alcohol; the precipitation is additionally cleaned. n EFFECT: what is developed is the new method for producing naphtho[1,2,3-cd]indol-6(2H)-one differing by simplicity, reduced reaction time and material expenses. n 3 cl, 2 ex |
