| abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: triplex scanning of the interlobular artery of the upper kidney pole is performed in clinostasis, and then within the first minute in orthostasis. The acceleration time (Ta), the total time of the blood flow during one cardiac cycle (Tt) are measured, their ratio Ta/Tt in clinostasis and orthostasis is calculated. After that the acceleration time index (ATI) is calculated by the mathematical formula.
