abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical and metallurgical production of platinum group metals and compounds thereof. The method of producing trans-dinitrodiammine palladium includes treating palladium nitrate solution with sodium nitrite to achieve pH 4-6. Ammonia solution is added to the obtained palladium nitrite solution in amount of 100-110% of the stoichiometrically required amount.
