abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of chewing gum. A chewing gum production method includes a step in which the ingredients are mixed together, a mixture-extrusion step, a dusting step using a dusting powder, a sheeting step and a shaping/cutting step. The dusting powder includes a powder composition of agglomerates of crystals. The agglomerates of crystals comprise 50 to 100% of polyol and are obtained by granulation of crystals, and comprise 0.1 to 50% of particles with a diameter of less than 75 mcm. n EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the content of inorganic agents, such as talc, while maintaining an efficient method and while retaining the organoleptic qualities of the chewing gum obtained. n 11 cl, 10 tbl, 3 ex
