titleOfInvention | Method for simulating cytomegalovirus infection in individual for studying and testing antiviral compounds and transplant for implementing it |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and virology and concerns developing methods for creating a biological model of cytomegalovirus infection in an individual. One of the versions of the method involves implanting (grafting) of an implant representing a biodegradable matrix into immunodeficient nude mice. The implant is collagen sponge, or a matrix of chitosan, or polylactide matrix. The matrix involves proliferating, virus high-sensitive, normal, viable human cells pre-infected with human cytomegalovirus. The other version involves grafting of the same implant into the mice. The infection is implemented by administering human cytomegalovirus into the pre-grafted implant to the mice. n EFFECT: methods provide simulating the infections applicable to study its pathogenesis in the macroorganism, as well as to examine in vivo the antiviral action of the agents possessing the anti-CMV activity. n 3 cl, 4 dwg, 6 ex |
