abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method involves taking general baths and prescribing mud applications on lower extremities with underlying standard drug therapy. The patient takes prepared silicate-carbonate baths with the concentration of sodium salt of metasilicic acid of 100-150 mg/l and the content of carbon dioxide of 1.2 g/l. The bath water temperature is 36°-37°C. The length of the procedure is 10-15 minutes. Taking the baths is followed by having a 30-40-minute rest. Sulphide silt mud sock- or boot-like applications are performed. The mud temperature is 32°-36°C; the length of procedure is 8-20 minutes. The procedures are performed 2 days running, with a pause on the 3 rd day.
