titleOfInvention Method for simulating chronic hepatitis
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental surgery, and can be used for simulating chronic pancreatitis. A method involves generating hypertension in a biliopancreatic duct. A positive pressure is generated by narrowing a lumen of the biliopancreatic duct by half. The narrowing and stricture formation is provided by an outer compression with an expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (e-PTFE) flap wrapped about the duct and fixed thereto. n EFFECT: method requires no limitation of motions in laboratory animals and uses no complex equipment.
